Regular Season Round 11: Pau-Lacq-Orthez - Chalon 101-96

There was a minor upset when higher ranked Chalon/Saor (6-5) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (6-5) 101-96. They made 26-of-30 charity shots (86.7 percent) during the game. Pau-Lacq-Orthez shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. It was an exceptional evening for American CJ Harris (191-91, college: Wake Forest, agency: Pensack Sports) who led the winners and scored 31 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Venezuelan-American Donta Smith (201-83, college: SE Illinois JC) accounted for 19 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists for the winning side. American point guard Justin Robinson (174-95, college: Monmouth) came up with 27 points, 7 assists and 4 steals and the other American import guard Vincent Sanford (193-90, college: Dayton, agency: Inception Sports) added 20 points and 4 assists respectively for Chalon/Saor in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Pau-Lacq-Orthez moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Chalon/Saor. Chalon/Saor lost third consecutive game. Pau-Lacq-Orthez's next round opponent will be Chalons-Reims (#12) on the road which should be theoretically an easy game.
