The game in Puebla supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked Fuerza Regia (11-5) played at the court of 7th ranked Angeles (3-13). Fuerza Regia smashed Angeles 90-65. The best player for the winners was Nigerian center Jeleel Akindele (216-83, college: Chicago St., agency: BeoBasket) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) chipped in 25 points. Five Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. Ishmael Paz produced 12 points and 5 rebounds and Puerto Rican point guard Filiberto Rivera (189-82, college: UTEP) added 12 points respectively for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fuerza Regia have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 11-5 record having just two points less than leader Capitanes, which they share with Aaguacateros. Angeles lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the seventh position with 13 games lost. Fuerza Regia's next round opponent will be Libertadores (#6) in Queretaro. Angeles will play on the road against Huracanes in Tampico and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
