No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Orzinuovi (6-3) won against on the road 16th ranked Reggio Emilia (1-8) 69-52 on Sunday. They outrebounded Reggio Emilia 35-23 including 23 on the defensive glass. Power forward Vincenzo Pipitone (206-94) stepped up and scored 8 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and Mirco Turel (195-94) chipped in 16 points. Orzinuovi's coach Stefano Salieri used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was power forward Enrico Germani (199-92) with 20 points and forward Tommaso Gatto (199-96, agency: Players Group) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Orzinuovi have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place in B, which they share with Ozzano and Urania Milano. Reggio Emilia lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with eight games lost. Orzinuovi will face league's second-placed Tigers C. in Cesena in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Reggio Emilia will play on the road against Urania Milano (#5) and hope to win that game.
