The game in Tromso was also quite interesting. 4th placed Baerum Basket (8-5) played at the court of sixth ranked Tromso (6-5). Tromso defeated Baerum Basket 100-90 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Baerum Basket. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 49-36 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Tromso made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Tromso outrebounded Baerum Basket 47-36 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Cam Gregory (203-95, college: Loyola, MD) who had a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 21 rebounds and 8 assists. Guard Johannes Lange (179-98) chipped in 25 points. American guard Joshua Hart (194-90, college: Va Intermont) produced 29 points and 8 rebounds and guard Stian Mjos (183-89) added 21 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for the guests. Four Baerum Basket players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Tromso. They maintain sixth place with 6-5 record. Loser Baerum Basket keeps the fourth position with five games lost. Tromso will meet at home higher ranked Fyllingen BBK (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Baerum Basket will play against Froya Basket in Laksevag and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
