Regular Season Round 12: Levice - Rieker KN 93-65

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Levice (8-3) crushed at home 6th ranked Rieker KN (4-7) 93-65. Levice dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Rieker KN's 20. They outrebounded Rieker KN 42-27 including 31 on the defensive glass. Levice players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Steven Davis (203-93, college: Wright St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and international point guard Simon Krajcovic (191-94, college: Loyola Mary) who added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Five Levice players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Croatian power forward Nenad Delic (210-84) with 13 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Liam OReilly (188, college: Gardner-Webb) scored 13 points and 6 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Levice have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Iskra Svit. Rieker KN at the other side keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. Levice will play against league's second-placed Iskra Svit at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rieker KN will play against the league's leader Inter Bratislava (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
