Regular Season Round 4: Dafni Agioy - Iraklis 69-61

Bottom-ranked Iraklis is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to fifth ranked Dafni Agioy (3-1) 69-61 on Sunday evening. American players dominated the game. It was a very good performance for power forward Oderah Chidom (193-95, college: Duke) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. Forward KeShunan James (184-94, college: Murray St.) contributed with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals for the winners. Center Jacqueline Blake (189-95, college: Houston) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and swingman NDea Bryant (185-94, college: N.Carolina) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Iraklis. Iraklis' coach Grigoris Kokkinidis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Dafni Agioy moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Iraklis still closes the standings with four games lost. Dafni Agioy will face Kalyvion (#10) in Kalyvia in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Iraklis' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Thessaloniki PAOK.
