The game in Trelleborg was also quite interesting. 6th ranked Helsingborg (3-6) played at the court of seventh ranked Trelleborg (3-3). Trelleborg defeated Helsingborg 94-80 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Trelleborg. Helsingborg managed to win second period 25-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Trelleborg won last quarter 31-19. They shot 63.6 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Zach Allmon (203, college: Vanguard) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds (on 17-of-22 shooting from the field). Australian guard John Fitzgerald (193-84, college: Lindsey Wilson) helped adding 20 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals. Four Trelleborg and five Helsingborg players scored in double figures. Helsingborg's coach Martin Fastberg rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Trelleborg moved-up to fifth place, which they share with AIK Basket. Helsingborg lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. Trelleborg will meet Lulea (#8) on the road in the next round. Helsingborg will play against Hogsbo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
