Very important is a road loss of third ranked Novipiu Casale (5-4) against fourteenth ranked Remer TVG (4-5) on Sunday night. Visiting Novipiu Casale was edged by Remer TVG in a tough game in Treviglio 67-70. It was a good game for Slovenian forward Mitja Nikolic-Smrdelj (200-91, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Andrea Pecchia (194-97) contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Remer TVG's coach Adriano Vertemati allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Kruize Pinkins (201-93, college: USF) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import guard Bradley Tinsley (190-89, college: Vanderbilt) added 18 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Novipiu Casale. Remer TVG moved-up to thirteenth place in A2. Novipiu Casale at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Remer TVG will play against higher ranked Pall. Trapani (#12) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Novipiu Casale will play against FCL Contract LG (#15) in Castellanza and hopes to get back on the winning track.
