Regular Season Round 9: Teramo - Giulianova 59-51

There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Teramo (2-6) defeated at home second-best Giulianova (6-3) 59-51 on Sunday. Forward Simone Aromando (200-97) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds for the winners and swingman Andrea LaGioia (193-86) chipped in 11 points and 6 steals. The best for the losing side was guard Enrico Gobbato (193-98) with 16 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Mattia Cardellini (179-91) scored 17 points. Teramo moved-up to thirteenth place in B. Loser Giulianova dropped to the third position with three games lost. Teramo will face higher ranked Nardo (#11) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Giulianova will play against Lamezia (#15) and hope to win that game.
