Rather predictable result in Seu D'urgell where sixth ranked AE Sedis (4-3) outscored 9th ranked Mann Filter (2-5) 90-56 on Sunday. AE Sedis forced 20 Mann Filter turnovers. It was a great evening for American forward Mehryn Kraker (183-94, college: Green Bay, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory scoring 17 points and 5 assists. International center Georgina Bahi (190-89) helped adding 20 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Four AE Sedis players scored in double figures. At the losing side American Leslie Knight (184-86, college: Minnesota) responded with 10 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import guard Brittany Brown (173-95, college: Florida St., agency: ProDep Management) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. AE Sedis moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Valencia and Araski. Mann Filter lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. AE Sedis will meet Sant Adria (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Mann Filter will play against Zamarat (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
