The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Tsmoki-Minsk as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Tsmoki-Minsk smashed 4th ranked BrGU COR Victoria at home 99-49. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of BrGU COR Victoria. The game was mostly controlled by Tsmoki-Minsk. BrGU COR Victoria was better in fourth quarter 15-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BrGU COR Victoria to just 6 points in second quarter. Tsmoki-Minsk held BrGU COR Victoria to an opponent 24.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 45.5 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded BrGU COR Victoria 66-32 including a 23-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. As mentioned above they took over a top position. BrGU COR Victoria at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Victoria. BrGU COR Victoria will play next round against strong Olimpia trying to get back on the winning streak. Tsmoki-Minsk will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
