Important game to mention about took place in Nassau. Top-ranked Mingoes (4-0) saved a 3-point derby victory on the road edging 8th ranked Shockers (1-4) 87-84 on Wednesday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Mingoes forced 23 Shockers turnovers. The winners were led by Kemsy Sylvester who had that evening a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and Justin Smith supported him with 12 points. Even a double-double of 16 points and 15 rebounds by Adam Johnson did not help to save the game for Shockers. William Rigby added 14 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Mingoes have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. Shockers lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with four games lost. Mingoes' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Nassau .
