Regular Season Round 10: HBA-Marsky - Kristika Turku 75-89

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Helsinki. Second ranked Kristika Turku faced 4th ranked HBA-Marsky. Guests from Turun (8-1) defeated host HBA-Marsky (6-4) 89-75. The game was mostly controlled by Kristika Turku. HBA-Marsky was better in fourth quarter 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Mikael Aalto (205-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 16 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Joona Tuomala (197-97) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Kristika Turku players scored in double figures. Teemu Suokas (185-1) replied with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and swingman Erik Sajantila (195-1) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for HBA-Marsky. HBA-Marsky's coach Antti Koskelainen rotated eleven players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kristika Turku maintains second position in Division with 8-1 record behind leader Raholan Pyrkiva. HBA-Marsky at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. Kristika Turku will play against Jyvaskyla BA (#6) at home in the next round. HBA-Marsky will play against the league's leader Lahti and hopes to get back on the winning track.
