Townsville Fire smashed Bendigo Spirit 93-51 on Thursday. The former international center Suzy Batkovic (195-80) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. Townsville Fire will face Adelaide Lightning (#6) at home in the next round. Bendigo Spirit will play against Canberra Capitals and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
