Regular Season Round 8: Hamar - FSU 94-88

Date: November 30, 2018
No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Hamar (5-3) beat at home 6th ranked FSU (3-5) 94-88 on Friday. FSU trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 25-19 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 88-94 at the end of the game. Hamar made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American guard Everage Richardson (191-85, college: Co.Carolina) who scored that evening 31 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and Croatian Marko Milekic (201-95) supported him with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Even 17 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals by American-Dominican point guard Mike Rodriguez (178-94, college: S.Illinois) did not help to save the game for FSU. Swingman Snjolfur Stefansson (192-98) added 14 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hamar maintains fourth position with 5-3 record, which they share with Fjolnir. Loser FSU keeps the sixth place with five games lost. Hamar will meet Sindri (#7) in the next round. FSU will play against the league's leader Thor AK and hope to secure a win.
