Rather expected game when 13th ranked Charilaos TM (2-5) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Ippokratis (4-3) 74-63 on Saturday. Ippokratis made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Charilaos TM was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Ioannis Chatzinikolas (196-95) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 7 rebounds and Estonian point guard Rait-Riivo Laane (179-93) who added 13 points and 7 assists during the contest. Chatzinikolas is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Serbian center Stefan Djordjevic (206-89) responded with 16 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Efstathios Papadionysiou (189-92) scored 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Ippokratis moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Charilaos TM lost third consecutive game. Charilaos TM at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the thirteenth position with five games lost. Ippokratis will face league's leader Ionikos Nikaias on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Charilaos TM will play against Diagoras D. (#9) and hope to win that game.
