Bottom-ranked Tokyo Big Blue is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to fourth ranked Saitama Broncos (7-9) 93-82 on Saturday evening. Saitama Broncos dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Tokyo Big Blue's 28. Saitama Broncos looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a good game for American Darnell Martin (198-91, college: CS Dominguez H.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). The other American import center Joshua Crawford (211-88, college: Indiana St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Saitama Broncos players scored in double figures. American guard Andre Murray (188-87, college: Portland St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Kota Goto (176-94) added 21 points in the effort for Tokyo Big Blue. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Saitama Broncos have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 7-9 record. Loser Tokyo Big Blue still closes the standings with four games lost. Saitama Broncos will face again bottom-ranked Tokyo Big Blue (#10) at home in the next round where they are favorite.
