Regular Season Round 11: Polonia Bytom - Przemysl 92-66

Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Przemysl (5-8) was outplayed on the road by second ranked Polonia Bytom (10-3) 92-66 on Saturday. Polonia Bytom dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Przemysl's 34. They outrebounded Przemysl 53-28 including a 22-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Polonia Bytom looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Krzysztof Kurdubski (199-87) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds. Emil Podkowinski (194-88) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Four Polonia Bytom players scored in double figures. Polonia Bytom's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Pawel Strzepek (190-0) produced 17 points and 6 rebounds and forward Kacper Walciszewski (199-0) added 16 points respectively for the guests. Polonia Bytom maintains second place in Group C with 10-3 record having just two points less than leader Zubry, which they share with Wisla Krakow. Przemysl lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. Polonia Bytom will face league's leader AZS AWF Mick. in Katowice in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Przemysl will play at home against MCKiS Jaworz. (#5) and hope to win that game.
