No shocking result in a game when tenth ranked Unia Tarnow (5-8) defeated at home bottom-ranked MKS DG 2 (0-13) 78-60 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was power forward Tomasz Palmowski (199-97) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Tomasz Bryzek (195-86) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Center Bartosz Chodukiewicz (206-2) produced 24 points and 6 rebounds and guard Dawid Rasztabiga (183-0) added 15 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Unia Tarnow moved-up to ninth place in Group C, which they share with Zaglebie and Przemysl. MKS DG 2 lost their thirteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 13 games lost. Unia Tarnow will face higher ranked Pogon RS (#8) in Ruda Slaska in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MKS DG 2 will play on the road against Bielsko-Biala (#13) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
