Regular Season Round 9: Kalmar - Team4Q 110-104

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Team4Q (6-2) on the court of seventh ranked Kalmar on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Kalmar 110-104. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Team4Q. It was a good game for American forward Mike McDevitt (203, college: Franklin Pierce) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds. Slovenian Jan Tratnik (190-89) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Naturalized Bosnian forward Srdjan Vukovic (197-86) answered with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds and Renato Dragic added 27 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Team4Q. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kalmar (3-5) moved-up to sixth place. Team4Q at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still keeps top position with two games lost. Kalmar are looking forward to face league's second-placed Bankeryd at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Team4Q will play against the league's second-placed Bankeryd and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
