Regular Season Round 7: MuKi - Go Time 84-77

Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Helsinki: MuKi (#3) and Go Time (#9). MuKi (5-1) won against visiting Go Time (2-6) 84-77. Go Time trailed by 16 points after 3 quarters before a 22-13 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 77-84 at the end of the game. MuKi forced 23 Go Time turnovers. It was a very good performance for swingman Nikolas Gustavson (191-1) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Karri Kortemaa (193-0) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four MuKi players scored in double figures. Swingman Samatar Abokar (190-1) answered with 26 points and 9 rebounds and center Federiko Federiko (205-1) added 16 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks in the effort for Go Time. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for MuKi. They moved-up to second place. Go Time lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with six games lost. MuKi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Helsinki to the arena HNMKY.
