Regular Season Round 12: Slask Wroclaw - STK Czarni 96-83

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Slask as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Slask defeated 9th ranked STK Czarni in Wroclaw 96-83. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of STK Czarni. It was a good game for point guard Norbert Kulon (187-92) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 7 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-97, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 24 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Naturalized Lithuanian guard Mantas Cesnauskis (189-81) replied with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Patryk Pelka (202-89) added 12 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for STK Czarni. Four Slask and five STK Czarni players scored in double figures. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Newly promoted STK Czarni dropped to the eleventh place with seven games lost. They share the position with Ksiezak Lowicz. STK Czarni will play next round against GKS Tychy trying to get back on the winning streak. Slask will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Enea Astoria at Bydgoszcz.
