Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Tokyo: Koshigaya A. (#1) and Tokyo Cinq R. (#3). Koshigaya A. (15-1) won against visiting Tokyo Cinq R. (9-7) 95-82. Koshigaya A. dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Tokyo Cinq R.'s 40 and made 23-of-27 charity shots (85.2 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Tokyo Cinq R. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American players dominated the game. The best player for the winners was Josh Peppers (201-85, college: Cent.Florida) who scored 22 points and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Kyle Richardson (201-91, college: Portland St.) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Koshigaya A.'s coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. They maintain first position with 15-1 record, which they share with Tokyo Excel. Tokyo Cinq R. lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with seven games lost.
