Regular Season Round 11: Wisla Krakow - Tarnowskie Gory 82-75

Everything went according to plan when third ranked Wisla Krakow (10-3) won against at home 7th ranked Tarnowskie Gory (7-6) 82-75 on Saturday. Wisla Krakow dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Tarnowskie Gory's 32. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was Michal Chrabota (193-99) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. Power forward Jakub Zaczek (204-96) chipped in 20 points and 9 rebounds. Wisla Krakow's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Maciej Balcerzak (194-88) produced 17 points and 9 rebounds and forward Grzegorz Zadecki (195-84) added 19 points respectively for the guests. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Wisla Krakow. They moved-up to second place in Group C, which they share with Polonia Bytom. Tarnowskie Gory lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. Wisla Krakow will face Dobrodzien (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tarnowskie Gory will play against Zaglebie (#10) in Sosnowiec and hope to win that game.
