Regular Season Round 10: Carugate - San Martino 62-52

There was a minor upset when 9th ranked San Martino (4-6) lost to eleventh ranked Carugate (4-6) in Corugate 52-62 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for Croatian center Lorena Molnar (194-98, agency: AgainHello) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Giulia Maffenini (175-92, agency: Two Points) contributed with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Guard Alice Milani (170-99) replied with 19 points and swingman Anna Profaiser (177-0) added 4 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for San Martino. San Martino's coach Enrico Valentini rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Carugate moved-up to tenth place in A2. Carugate will face Ponzano (#12) in Veneto in the next round. San Martino will play at home against Udine and hope to win that game.
