No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked AE Sedis (5-3) beat on the road 13th ranked Sant Adria (1-7) 59-50 on Sunday. AE Sedis forced 21 Sant Adria turnovers. The winners were led by guard Andrea Vilaro (182-93, college: Florida) who scored that evening 15 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Merritt Hempe (190-94, college: Georgia) supported her with 12 points and 5 rebounds. Even 24 points by guard Aina Ayuso (175-99, college: Oregon) did not help to save the game for Sant Adria. Mali center Mariam Coulibaly (193-97) added 9 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. AE Sedis maintains fifth position with 5-3 record, which they share with Valencia. Loser Sant Adria keeps the thirteenth place with seven games lost. AE Sedis will meet at home Valencia (#6) in the next round.
