Regular Season Round 11: Bergen - Ullern 60-83

Kvinneligaen top team - Ullern (11-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Bergen (3-6) 83-60. The game was mostly controlled by Ullern. Bergen was better in fourth quarter 28-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Bergen's 30. They outrebounded Bergen 50-32 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ullern players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was a great evening for the former international center Tori Halvorsen (183-88, college: American) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Forward Marte Moe (184-0) helped adding 11 points and 14 rebounds. Four Ullern players scored in double figures. Guard Tuva Andersen (174-0) responded with 23 points and 6 rebounds and guard Kristin Hannestad (175-97) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Ullern. Defending champion maintains first place with 11-0 record. Bergen lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with Hoybraten. Ullern will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bergen's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Bergen Gimle Pride.
