Rather predictable result when ninth ranked Salou (5-6) beat on the road 13th ranked Salt (1-10) 78-62 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American forward CJ Barksdale (203-92, college: Virginia Tech) who scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Eloi Galofre (195-87) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Four Salou players scored in double figures. Forward Albert Pujolras (194-88) produced 9 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Marc Juanola (192-92) added 11 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Salou maintains ninth place in Group C-A with 5-6 record. Salt lost ninth consecutive game.
