Tenth-ranked Cuore Napoli (4-6) made lots of trouble for first ranked Deco (9-1). The visitors from Caserta managed to secure only two-point victory 78-76. However their fans expected much easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Niccolo Rinaldi (199-93) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Leonardo Ciribeni (190-92) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Francesco Guarino (182-79, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his eight free throws) and Tommaso Milani (190-88, agency: Octagon Europe) added 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Cuore Napoli. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted Deco maintains first position in B with 9-1 record, which they share with Faenza. Cuore Napoli at the other side keeps the tenth place with six games lost. Deco will play against IUL Tiber (#8) in Roma in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Cuore Napoli will play at home against Palermo GB and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
