There was a minor upset in Juninense where 4th placed CA Platense (6-6) was defeated by sixth ranked Ciclista (5-6) 71-58 on Sunday. American forward Corbin Jackson (198-92, college: Florida Tech) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Joaquin-Federico Giarrafa (193-95) chipped in 23 points. Jackson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Cedric Blossom (198, college: Morgan St.) produced 21 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Pablo Bruna (185-87) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Ciclista moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser CA Platense keeps the fourth position with six games lost. Ciclista will face higher ranked Chivilcoy Racing (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
