Regular Season Round 10: San Severo - Senigallia 95-93

Sixth-ranked Senigallia (5-3) made lots of trouble for top-ranked San Severo (10-0) on Sunday. San Severo managed to secure only two-point victory 95-93. However their fans expected much easier game. San Severo made 30-of-37 free shots (81.1 percent) during the game. San Severo outrebounded Senigallia 41-24 including a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Senigallia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Emidio Di-Donato (198-92) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Riccardo Antonelli (208-88) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five San Severo players scored in double figures. Forward Mirco Pierantoni (202-81) produced 31 points and 8 rebounds and guard Giacomo Gurini (192-84) added 25 points respectively for lost side. San Severo maintains first position in B with 10-0 record. Senigallia at the other side keeps the sixth place with three games lost. San Severo are looking forward to face Teramo (#13) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Senigallia will play against Campli (#15) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
