There was no surprise in Orchies where 11th ranked Aubenas (4-9) was outplayed by fourth ranked Orchesien BC (9-4) 99-74 on Tuesday. Orchesien BC made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Aubenas' players. Forward Jeremy Ricard-Dorigo (200-94) stepped up and scored 27 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners and Jamaican Ricardo Alliman (201-87, college: Cedarville) chipped in 23 points (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Alliman is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Orchesien BC players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Gaylor Lobela-Nkuna (206-95, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 25 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American forward Gregg Thondique (201-87, college: Virginia Union, agency: Interperformances) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Aubenas' coach Marc Namura already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Orchesien BC moved-up to third place in Group A, which they share with Saint Vallier. Loser Aubenas keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. Orchesien BC will face Recy Saint-Martin (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Aubenas will play against Besancon and hope to win that game.
