Everything went according to plan in Reggio Calabria where fifth ranked Viola RC (8-2) won against 9th ranked Scauri (4-5) 83-73 on Tuesday. Scauri was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Filippo Alessandri (190-89) fired 25 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. The former international power forward Alessandro Paesano (203-93) chipped in 24 points (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Four Viola RC players scored in double figures.
