10th ranked Isa Town (1-4) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 84-74 loss to twelfth ranked Al-Bahrain (0-4) in Issa Town on Wednesday evening. It was a great evening for American forward Lester Ferguson (208-88, college: Robert Morris) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 25 rebounds. Ayoob Najaf helped adding 12 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side Tunisian Ahmed Salman responded with 40 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and Farazdaq Bardastani scored 8 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Al-Bahrain maintains twelfth place with 0-4 record. Loser Isa Town keeps the tenth position with four games lost. Al-Bahrain will meet higher ranked Al-Riffa (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Isa Town will play against Al-Ahli (#4) having rather not much hope for a victory.
