Regular Season Round 15: Levice - Prievidza 87-86

The most exciting game of round 15 in the SBL took place in Levice. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 4th placed Prievidza (8-5) to second ranked Levice (10-4) 87-86 in the game for the second place. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Prievidza. 25 personal fouls committed by Prievidza helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Levice have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place with 10-4 record behind leader Inter Bratislava. Prievidza at the other side dropped to the third position with five games lost. They share it with Iskra Svit and Zilina. Levice are looking forward to face Nova Ves (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Prievidza will play against the league's leader Inter Bratislava (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
