Important game to mention about took place in Komarno. Seventh ranked Rieker KN (6-8) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 6th ranked Nova Ves (5-8) 95-92 in the fight for the sixth place. Rieker KN dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Nova Ves' 38. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a great evening for Croatian power forward Nenad Delic (210-84) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 8 rebounds. The former international point guard Nenad Milosevic (190-83) helped adding 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was American guard Eric Nottage (188-94, college: FIU, agency: Court Side) with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and American-Haitian center John Florveus (211-90, college: Georgia, agency: Slash Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Rieker KN moved-up to sixth place. Nova Ves lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. Rieker KN will play against higher ranked Zilina (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Nova Ves will play against the league's second-placed Levice and hope to get back on the winning track.
