We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Anshan where 14th ranked Red Wolves (4-13) were defeated by fifteenth ranked Liaoning Hengye (4-13) 66-57. Liaoning Hengye outrebounded Red Wolves 52-38 including 17 on the offensive glass. American center Rachel Hollivay (196-93, college: Rutgers, agency: ProDep Management) notched a double-double by scoring 23 points and 19 rebounds to lead the effort and guard TingTing Wang (175-91) supported her with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Even a double-double of 20 points and 16 rebounds by American forward Theresa Plaisance (196-92, college: LSU, agency: ProDep Management) did not help to save the game for Red Wolves. Taiwanese guard Hsien-Fang Lin (168-91) added 9 points. Red Wolves' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Liaoning Hengye moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Shaanxi. Liaoning Hengye's next round opponent will be higher ranked Magic Deer (#4) in Urumqi and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
