Regular Season Round 13: Asker Aliens - Centrum 74-80

Date: December 5, 2018
No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Centrum (4-11) beat on the road bottom-ranked Asker Aliens (2-12) 80-74 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 11 points at the halftime before their 53-36 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Centrum forced 21 Asker Aliens turnovers. Guard Oivind Lundestad (194-91, college: Point Loma) nailed 22 points for the winning side and forward Anders Stien (195-90) accounted for 19 points and 5 rebounds. Four Centrum players scored in double figures. American point guard Jerrod Hendricks (175-91, college: King) came up with 22 points and 4 assists and guard Ulrik Stranger-Johannessen (192-99) added 15 points respectively for Asker Aliens in the defeat. Asker Aliens' coach Tommy Gundersen rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Centrum maintains seventh place with 4-11 record. Asker Aliens lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Centrum will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Asker Aliens will play against the league's second-placed Kongsberg (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
