Rather expected game in Mogi das Cruzes where 9th ranked Joinville (4-6) was defeated by sixth ranked Mogi (7-4) 81-67 on Thursday. Mogi looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was international point guard Arthur Pecos (183-94) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. The former international Luis-Felipe Gruber (206-85) chipped in 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Mogi players scored in double figures. Joinville will play on the road against Paulistano in Sao Paulo and hope to win that game.
