Regular Season Round 5: Regulators - Rockets 58-76

Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Nassau: Rockets (#4) and Regulators (#6). Regulators were crushed at home by 18 points 58-76 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. International center Livingston Munnings (-92) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks. Cordaro Pinder contributed with 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Renardo Baillou answered with 5 points and 13 rebounds and Carlos Thompson added 13 points in the effort for Regulators. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rockets have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Regulators at the other side keep the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Defenders. Rockets will play against Defenders (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Regulators' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Nassau Giants.
