Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: Bigua (#8) and Atenas (#9). Bigua (6-6) smashed visiting Atenas (6-6) by 17 points 105-88. They outrebounded Atenas 41-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. Bigua players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Cameron Forte (201-93, college: Portland St.) who scored 30 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Charles Hinkle (198-88, college: American) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Bigua players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Luis Hernandez (198) who recorded 36 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds (on 16-of-20 shooting from the field) and American guard Gabriel Belardo (188-89, college: FIU) added 20 points and 9 assists respectively. Bigua maintains eighth position with 6-6 record, which they share with Trouville and Atenas. Bigua's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Aguada.
