Important game to mention about took place in Caen. Seventeenth ranked Caen (2-6) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 15th ranked Poitiers (2-6) 86-85 in the fight for the fifteenth place. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jordan Tolbert (201-92, college: SMU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds and the other American import point guard Jerrold Brooks (183-91, college: S.Mississippi) who added 14 points and 6 assists during the contest. Kevin Harley (196-94) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and American power forward Ron Anderson (202-89, college: S.Florida, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Poitiers' coach Ruddy Nelhomme let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Caen moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Denain and Poitiers. Caen will face league's leader Chorale de Roanne on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
