Regular Season Round 8: Paris - Rouen 69-79

Very expected game when 18th ranked Paris (1-7) was defeated at home by eighth ranked SPO Rouen (5-3) 79-69 on Friday. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Jamar Diggs (190-88, college: Wofford, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Jessie Begarin (205-88, agency: Court Side) who added 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Five SPO Rouen players scored in double figures. Center Garry Florimont (202-87) responded with 15 points and 6 rebounds and Trinidad and Tobago-Australian point guard Daniel Dillon (193-86, college: Arizona) scored 4 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. SPO Rouen have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 5 other teams. Newly promoted Paris stay at the bottom position with seven games lost. SPO Rouen will face Sluc Nancy (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Paris will play against Lille Metropole (#12) and hope to win that game.
