Regular Season Round 12: Turow - Rawia 69-91

There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Turow (0-11) was outleveled by eleventh ranked Rawia (3-8) in Zgorzelec 91-69 on Friday. Rawia dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Turow's 44. It was a good game for point guard Bartlomiej Rodak (180-96) who led his team to a victory with 18 points. Kacper Kuta (196-94) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Rawia players scored in double figures. Forward Jakub Lewandowski (196-1) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and Cezary Fudziak added 17 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Turow. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rawia maintains eleventh position in Group D with 3-8 record. Newly promoted Turow still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Rawia will face Zielona Gora 2 (#12) in Nowa Sol in the next round. Turow will play on the road against Slask 2 Wroclaw and hopes to get finally their first victory.
