Regular Season Round 13: Kobrat - Vilpas 85-92

Leader Vilpas delivered the thirteenth victory. This time they beat 9th ranked Lapuan Korikobrat (4-8) 92-85. Lapuan Korikobrat was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 47-39 second half run of Vilpas. They made 26-of-32 charity shots (81.3 percent) during the game. Five Vilpas and four Lapuan Korikobrat players scored in double figures. Lapuan Korikobrat's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Vilpas (13-1) have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. They maintain first place. Lapuan Korikobrat lost fifth consecutive game. Lapuan Korikobrat at the other side dropped to the tenth position with eight games lost. Vilpas' next round opponent will be league's second-placed Tampereen Pyrinto at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lapuan Korikobrat will play against KTP-Basket (#3) in Kotka and hope to win that game.
