1Liga top team - Slask (9-2) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Enea Astoria (8-4) in Bydgoszcz 91-86. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Enea Astoria. Slask looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Robert Skibniewski (183-83) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 7 assists. Point guard Jakub Musial (185-98) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Slask players scored in double figures. Point guard Marcin Nowakowski (184-89) answered with 15 points and 7 assists and Mikolaj Grod (194-89) added 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) in the effort for Enea Astoria. Enea Astoria's coach Grzegorz Skiba rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Slask have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-2 record. Enea Astoria at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with WKK Wroclaw. Slask's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Wroclaw WKK Wroclaw.
