No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Fujitsu RW (7-4) beat 9th ranked Aishin Wings (4-7) in Anjo 63-55 on Saturday. Strangely Aishin Wings outrebounded Fujitsu RW 45-33 including 31 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Fujitsu RW especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.5 percentage. The former international guard Shiori Takada (173-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 9 points and 7 rebounds. International point guard Rui Machida (162-93) contributed with 6 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Kiho Miyashita (179-98) answered with 12 points and 9 rebounds and point guard CaiDeng Sakai (164-95) added 12 points and 4 assists in the effort for Aishin Wings. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Fujitsu RW. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Denso Iris. Aishin Wings lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. Fujitsu RW will have a break next round. Aishin Wings will play again on the road against Fujitsu RW (#5) in Kawasaki and hope to win that game.
