Regular Season Round 13: WKK Wroclaw - Pruszkow 71-68

Thirteenth-ranked Pruszkow (4-8) was very close to win a game against fourth ranked WKK Wroclaw (8-4) on Saturday. WKK Wroclaw managed to secure only three-point victory 71-68. However their fans expected much easier game. WKK Wroclaw forced 20 Pruszkow turnovers. Point guard Michal Jedrzejewski (184-98) nailed 13 points, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and Damian Pieloch (195-89) accounted for 19 points (made all of his seven free throws). WKK Wroclaw's coach Jerzy Szambelan used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Power forward Mateusz Szwed (198-91) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 17 rebounds and swingman Karol Kaminski (193-97) added 18 points and 5 assists respectively for Pruszkow in the defeat. Newly promoted WKK Wroclaw maintains fourth place with 8-4 record, which they share with Enea Astoria. Pruszkow lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with eight games lost. WKK Wroclaw's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Wroclaw to the arena Slask.
