Regular Season Round 20: Shimane SM - Sendai 89ers 81-66

An interesting game for Shimane Magic (14-7) which hosted in Shimane second-ranked Sendai 89ers (15-6). Third ranked Shimane Magic had an easy win 81-66. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sendai 89ers. Shimane Magic looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Hungarian Rosco Allen (208-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Venezuelan center Gregory Echenique (206-90, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Shimane Magic players scored in double figures. American forward Tyler Harris (208-93, college: Auburn) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and his fellow American import center Daniel Miller (211-91, college: Georgia Tech) added 8 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Sendai 89ers. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Shimane Magic maintains third position with 14-7 record having just two points less than leader Cyberdyne IR. Loser Sendai 89ers still keep top place with six games lost. Shimane Magic will face again league's second-placed Sendai 89ers at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
