There was a minor upset when 6th ranked BC Nokia (6-8) was crushed at home by ninth ranked Helsinki Seagulls (4-6) 118-75 on Saturday. The game without a history. Helsinki Seagulls led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Helsinki Seagulls forced 21 BC Nokia turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 55.6 percentage. Helsinki Seagulls looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by BC Nokia's players. American point guard Juwan Staten (185-92, college: W.Virginia) fired 25 points and 5 assists for the winners.
